Despite getting canned from the action film Edwin A. Salt for being too old, Tom Cruise, 46, is proving he can still get his super-hero on with the best of them. Cruise is reportedly teaming up with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi to bring the ultra-popular DC Comics/Wildstorm comic, Sleeper, to the big screen. Cruise is in talks to star in the project where he will need to channel back to his butt-kicking days to play an undercover intelligence agent who encounters an alien artifact that makes him indestructible.
That’s great, now he’ll never go away!
Hey, thats not fair. He may be a kook offscreen, but how often does that bother your personal life?
The boy has screen presence and people pay to see him. He can be surprising at times; case in point his appearance in “Tropic Thunder”. Totally off the wall and removed from his usual fare. One of the highlights of that movie.
What the hell thats my name
Maybe he should try doing a family movie, he’s getting to old for action movies. Maybe in like 10 years they can make another MI movie, like they did with Rocky, Indy, Mclaen, Rambo, and then Hunt. Who knows, maybe it will be good!
Ya, I agree. Cruise is a good actor. But he needs to keep the details of his psycho personal life to himself to benefit his career. I lost a lot of respect for the talented geek. As they say, ignorance is bliss at times.
ha, the movie is called ‘sleeper’? thats funny cuz thats what people do during tom cruise movies
