Tom Cruise Tom Cruise has hired a helicopter to fly him around London. The Mission: Impossible actor has splashed out on a luxurious chopper designed by Hermes for his stay in the U.K. while he films his upcoming movie All You Need Is Kill - in which he plays a soldier fighting a war against aliens. The Sun described the limited-edition helicopter, which boasts a cream leather interior and noise-minimizing walls to guarantee a quiet flight, as a "living room in the sky." Tom, 50, recently brought London's Trafalgar Square to a standstill as he filmed helicopter and tank scenes in the busy tourist destination. Despite complaints, a spokesman for the City of Westminster insisted the disruption was worth it because the movie "raises the profile of the city and is good for tourism."

London has probably the most tourists of any city in the world. The city didn’t need Tom Cruise to advertise it.
