Tom Cruise has hired a helicopter to fly him around London.
The
Mission: Impossible actor has splashed out on a luxurious chopper designed by Hermes for his stay in the U.K. while he films his upcoming movie
All You Need Is Kill - in which he plays a soldier fighting a war against aliens.
The Sun described the limited-edition helicopter, which boasts a cream leather interior and noise-minimizing walls to guarantee a quiet flight, as a "living room in the sky." Tom, 50, recently brought London's Trafalgar Square to a standstill as he filmed helicopter and tank scenes in the busy tourist destination. Despite complaints, a spokesman for the City of Westminster insisted the disruption was worth it because the movie "raises
the profile of the city and is good for tourism."
