Ghosting – Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan, two actors known for their work in the horror genre, go on a quest in this reality series to discover if Canada’s most haunted places are truly haunted. They’re joined in each episode by a celebrity guest. Debuts January 26 on CBC Gem.

Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan talk about searching for ghosts in their new series, Ghosting. They reveal the buildings — famous for being haunted — that they’ve explored and how they choose their special celebrity guests from actors they’ve worked with in horror films.

Masters of the Air – The men of the 100th Bomb Group conduct bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat. Starring Austin Butler and Callum Turner. Debuts January 26 on Apple TV+.

Griselda – Fleeing from Medellin to Miami with her three young sons and a kilo of cocaine, Griselda Blanco (Sofía Vergara) becomes the ruthless boss of a booming drug empire in Miami in the 1970s to 1980s. Debuts January 25 on Netflix.

Expats – Set against the complex tapestry of Hong Kong residents, Expats depicts a multifaceted group of women after a single encounter sets off a chain of life-altering events that leaves everyone navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability.

The Holdovers – A curmudgeonly instructor (Paul Giamatti) at a New England prep school remains on campus during Christmas break to supervise the handful of students that have nowhere to go. He forms an unlikely bond with one of them — a damaged, brainy troublemaker (Dominic Sessa) — and with the school’s cook, who has just lost a son in Vietnam (Da’Vine Joy Randolph). Available January 23 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Special Ops: Lioness – Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira) has had a tough life. In order to get away from an abusive boyfriend, she enrolls in the military, where she gets a physical rating as high as any man. Her intelligence also plays a factor as she’s chosen to be a part of a Special Ops team, led by Joe (Zoe Saldana), who just lost one of her team to the enemy. Available January 23 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Laysla De Oliveira talks about working with Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman on the Paramount+ action series, Special Ops: Lioness. She reveals what it was like to work in Mallorca and how the entire cast would get together after work at the hotel. She also describes how much her character, Cruz, has to go through and how long it would take the makeup artists to apply the injuries of the day.

Michael Kelly discusses how he went from Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan right to the set of another exciting action series with Special Ops: Lioness. He describes how different his character in this series is from Mike November in Jack Ryan, and reveals that although most of his scenes take place on a White House set, it was filmed in Mallorca, Spain alongside Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman and Zoe Saldana.
