Lift – An international heist crew, led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart), races to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet. Debuts January 12 on Netflix.

Run the Burbs: Season 3 – Andrew Pham (Andrew Phung) is a Vietnamese-Canadian man with an Indian-Canadian wife, Camille (Rakhee Morzaria). Along with their two children, Khia and Leo, they live in the suburbs, in an area where the neighbors are all close. From block parties to pool parties, the Phams manage to make whatever happens as zany as possible. Debuts January 9 on CBC / CBC Gem.

Andrew Phung, Rakhee Morzaria and showrunners Nelu Handa and Jennica Harper discuss Season 3 of the sitcom Run the Burbs. Andrew reveals how he came up with the idea for the show when he was playing a supporting role on the hit sitcom Kim’s Convenience and Rakhee discusses the relationship between her character and Andrew, plus how she views the child actors who play their kids on the show.

Son of a Critch: Season 3 – Mark Critch (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) lives in Newfoundland in the 1980s with his older brother Mike Jr. (Colton Gobbo), his grandfather (Malcolm McDowell), his father Mike Critch Sr. (Mark Critch) and his mother (Claire Rankin). Because he’s a bit more grown up than the other kids at school, he gets bullied, until a girl decides she likes him. Debuts January 9 on CBC / CBC Gem.

Mark Critch, the creator of CBC’s Son of a Critch, talks about playing Mike Critch Sr. in the series, which is about his Newfoundland childhood. Claire Rankin, who plays his wife and the mother of the two boys, reveals what the cast does when they’re not filming. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who is from Yorkshire, England, talks about learning a Newfoundland accent to play the lead character Mark Critch. Colton Gobbo, who plays Mark’s older brother Mike Jr.,  reveals what his character is up to this season and how he feels about Benjamin – and what Benjamin had better not do this season!

Wild Cards – Police officer Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) is now a water cop after he makes a mistake at work. He arrests Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) for theft, but soon learns there’s much more to her crime. While she’s in custody, Max helps Cole solve another crime. If the two will team up to solve another crime, Ellis will get a chance to earn back his detective badge, while Max will get out of jail. Debuts January 10 on CBC / CBC Gem and on January 17, 2024 on The CW.

Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianniotti talk about filming their new CBC / The CW crime drama series Wild Cards in British Columbia. They reveal that the audience has much more to learn about their characters over the course of Season 1.

The Royal Hotel – Liv (Jessica Henwick) and Hanna (Julia Garner) claim to be Canadians while backpacking in Australia because “everyone loves Canadians.” When they run out of cash, they take on temporary live-in jobs at the Royal Hotel, the only pub for miles around in a desolate, dusty area, run by Billy (Hugo Weaving). Although Liv doesn’t see danger in their new situation, Hanna is well aware of how alcohol can change people and tries to protect her friend from the drunken advances of the customers and the sudden outbursts of violence.
