I thought the movie was awful. i talked to others that went to see it, and they loved it. Honestly.. it makes me question their sanity. I understand that it is hard to do an awsome job on a low budget. But, to me it seemed like they didnt try thier hardest at all! i really hope that if they decide to make a New Moon that it is actually good...

I was really, really disappointed by the movie. I'm a HUGE fan of the Twilight books, but the movie just was... The acting seemed really choppy and all that wonderful romantic chemistry was gone. It wasn't like the book really, not at all. There were many scenes that made me want to jump up out of my seat and scream out, 'that never happened!'. It also moved very fast, which I did not like. My main beef was the pacing and acting, along with the way they swayed from the book. I didn't totally HATE it, but I would not go see it again. Some parts were good, but for most of the time I felt as if I was wasting two hours of my life.

AN OK MOVIE IF YOUR 14YEARS OLD AND SNEAK A PICTURE WITH YOUR CELL PHONE! STUPID STORYLINE...ACTUALLY FELL ASLEEP DURING THE FIRST 15MINUTES..IF IT WASN'T FOR THE 16YR OLD MOVING AROUND NEXT TO ME..I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE DOZED OFF EVEN LONGER! ABSOLUTELY CHILDISH AND STUPID STOREYLINE!

Overall the movie was very dissapointing. I loved the books!!!! However, the movie itself lacked in many areas. There was no chemistry between Bella and Edward, and what makes the book so amazing is that you are drawn to their love. The movie doesn't have enough dialogue, and you don't feel the passion between the two. The movie should be able to evoke emotion and it doesn't. I get that Edward is pained, but Bella barely SMILED during the whole film, she never looked happy or that she was in love at all. The stunts were also cheesy and made me laugh. Absolutely stunning! I will definitely be seeing it again! The actors were perfect choices for the roles, I was very impressed.

this movie just melted my heart. and no i am not one of those annoying little 12 year old screaming girls. and i don't care if it wasn't perfect and wasn't exactly like the book, it was the cutest movie ever and i definitely plan on seeing it again and again. the actors did an amazing job and we gotta give them some credit because that is something that sure as hell isn't easy to do. so all you people who didn't like the movie, I'm positive none of you could have done a better job.

yeah... krystin ruined the whole thing along with robert. Seriously, i guess they didn't write the script, but they didn't even get the lines out right.

OMG the movie sucks!!!! It was cheesy, boring, awkward, slow, and definatly not meant to be a commedy! Alice, Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, esme, they were good. But whats up with Jasper!?!?!?! He's not supposed to be sick! They absolutely killed it! The books rock though. They missed so many important scenes, it was way too choppy. I thought Jacob was supposed to have his hair in a pony tail!

The book was so much better than the movie. But that was to be expected.Rob plays a good vampire. The movie moved things to fast. The book explains a wonderful chemistry between Bella and Edward. The movie did not do so well on that part of the book.Even though the movie was not as good as the book, at least you can look at Rob throughout the whole movie.

A lovely little movie - made me remember what it was like to have the naivete of a teeny bopper - and it felt great. Though not an epic, it is entertaining and that is why I went and what I got.

This was over all the best movie i have seen year round. the acting was great. i dont get what was up with all the bad comments, but i highly sugest you see the movie!!

Wow. Lot's of bad reviews. Why, may i ask? I though that the movie was absolutly amazing. I loved it. The acting was REALLY good. Why are people saying the ating was bad ? Like they can act better. Rob was REALLY good as Edward. And Mike Newton was a hottie. ♥ I loved him. Although, i do think that Billy was a bit too much of a joker. I pictured him more serious, but who cares? The movie doesn't have to be exactly like the book. I personally loved the movie, and all of my friends did too ! :]

So slow, hardly any action. Besides the good looking Edward there is nothing to see...

I was soooooo excited for this movie, i am a HUGE fan of the books, they are absolutely brilliant, but i was extremely disappointed with the movie, the chemistry between edward and bella was horrible, and they fell in love way too quickly. Some of the parts in the movie were extremely cheesy, and the acting in many parts weren't the best. They also missed vital scenes that i thought to be very important. Many of my favorite scenes were cut out. It makes me sad when i start thinking about how much potential this book had to become a movie, and summit in my opinion was NOT the right choice!!! If it had been done by another company, it would have done so much better.=(

I liked the movie but it was nothing like the book. I hope the sequels are way better. They left out so many big parts from the book in the movie, and I don't mind sitting and watching a 3 hour movie!of Twilight.

Bella was a little shady, the script was some what poorly written.

Ok, folks especially us Twilighters...lets keep in mind..Movies will never ever be like the books. The books have Bella talking alot to fill the in betweens. Imagine watching that on screen....BORING! Given the budget they had & that its for 2 hours, they had to step the story along. People who read the books (just like Lord of The Rings & Harry Potter) had the same problem (of course they had a bigger budget). You can't compare. And those who never read the Twilight series will just find it corny but they won't understand the premise behind these characters. I loved the movie. I think everyone did a good job considering and hopefully they make enough with this one to warrant a bigger

Wasn't quite as good as the book, and missed a few of my favorite scenes and attitudes. However, the actors were good for the characters (I actually thought that Kristen did good) and the overall story was intact. A few interesting additions that worked to differenciate the book and the movie. Going to see it again soon!

OMG, She Can't act!!!

First off Movies are never as good as books! When you read your imagination runs wild, you see things differently than others do. THATS A GOOD THING! But come on people do you homework. THIS WAS A LOW BUDGET FILM, NO ONE NEW REALLY HOW BIG/CRAZY THE FAN BASE WAS. Catherine did a great job,ya'll need to educate yourself. you don't even know how hard they tried to make something that would please all of us hard core fans, have a little respect.(Your favorite part was not in the movie?Get over it! mine sure was =D) And hey if they do make bank with this movie they will have more money for the next and it will be a lot better.LOVE THE BOOK, LOVE THE MOVE, BUT PLEASE DON'T JUDGE THE TWO TOGETHER

Okay, I'm a fan of the book series and was honestly not expecting a lot from the movie. I mean the plot of the books is fantastic and new but they aren't particularly well-written. I was hoping the movie would bring to life what the books didn't and I was pleasantly surprised ! I thought the cast played their parts perfectly and they even exceeded my expectations . The underlying humor was a nice touch and I was shocked at how much of it there was. I thought that Rob and Kristen did a great job with their individual parts and the chemistry was good also. GREAT!!!!

Storyline great (as expected). Script weak. Except where excerpts were directly taken, the dialogue was awkward and forced. Forget the fact that Pattison's acting was so stilted (I think he was trying too hard to do an American accent - when he' playing a Brit he's fine), the thing that bothered me the most was they tried to inject a bit of UN into the storyline - town of 3000 - several black people and Asians? I don't think so. Think I'm being narrowminded? CHECK OUT THE DIRECTORY IN ANY TOWN WITH A POPULATION UNDER 10,000. That was the most fantastical part of the movie. Ugh.

This movie was the Bomb :) My fav movie ever. The book was better than the movie, but every book turned into a movie is!! I Loved it

I have just got back from Twilight and I thought it was awesome. Robert was amazing, he acted like he was fighting to not hurt Bella. Also it will get better; movie, after movie, after movie. I still love Twilight! and I hope you guys stay with Twilight. Also I did think the books were better but they did put the main parts. Watch it. :]

Technically perfect - splendid casting; terrific cinematography; well directed and edited; fabulous chemistry between Pattinson and Stewart - but lacking in the script. Simply put, the adaptation is too thin and lacks structure.

I am shocked at the bad reviews. I read and loved the books, and thought the movie was fantastic! Was it as good as the books? Not even close, but it would be impossible to expect that, no movie ever is. Of course things were cheesy, so's the book. Of course some of the special effects sucked (they did in the first Harry Potter too). We're not talking a huge movie company or budget here. They will get increasingly better. Nit-picking over little changes is silly too. I think it's great that there were subtle differences, that made it more interesting! I already know what happens in the book, it doesn't have to be exactly the same! Plan on seeing it again.

The story is great the book is great so you know the story of the movie is great but there should have bin more chemistry between bella and edward (the actors not the characters)

I was really, really disappointed in the movie. OK, first of all, Kirsten and Robert can't act for their lives! Some of the other actors, such as Victoria, Carlisle, Emmett, and Esme, were actually pretty good. However, like I mentioned before, the two main actors were really disappointing. I think the plot of the movie wasn't very good either. Overall, I just think the movie made the awesome book of Stephanie Myer's look bad. That's all I have to say. And by the way, just because Robert is a so-called "hottie", doesn't mean he's an awesome actor. So don't get the two mixed up.

Ive been a big fan of the books since they've come out, and I wasnt excited to see the movie. But honestly, it surprised me, It was amazing and even, in my opinion better than the book itself. Im definitly going to go see it again.
