Even though it’s miles away from two other Edmonton-area behemoths, this 14-screen multiplex—also known as Cinetropolis— is like a cleaner, smaller, younger sister to the Scotiabank Edmonton and South Edmonton Commons cinemas. The theatre, which opened on the same weekend as the original Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003, is just as viable a moviegoing option, though, with two UltraAVX screens, an auditorium equipped with D-BOX seats, surround sound and many fast food options, such as Outtakes and Pizza 73. Wheelchair accessibility is offered, as are Fidelio described video, Assisted Listening Devices and CaptiView Captioning.
