Do not mess with Justin Bieber unless you’re prepared for serious payback. After a 15-year-old Detroit teen named Kevin Krisopik hacked into an account belonging to Bieber’s friend Ryan Butler to get the pop star’s phone number, he tweeted: “im the one who hacked ryan and got justins #.” He sent Justin numerous unwanted texts and ignored the singer’s requests to stop. So Bieber tweeted: “Everyone call me 248-XXX-XXXX 🙂 or text.” He later deleted the tweet, but not before thousands of girls had the phone number (he has over 4.5 million followers on Twitter), which was actually Krisopik’s. The teen’s dad told the Detroit Free Press that Bieber’s attempt to get his son to stop texting worked, but he’s worried about the cost of the incoming international texts. “If it costs us $2,000 or $10,000, it’s out of line,” Mike Kristopik told the paper, although he added that he understands his son invaded Bieber’s privacy. “I kind of meddled into his life a little bit,” Kevin admitted. “He decided to take revenge on me.” The teen has since changed his phone number.

I would hazard a guess that his image reps. are not to pleased about this stunt. This has great potential to yield a fair amount of bad PR. Not to say what he did wasn’t funny…it was. It is just not a good idea when you’re trying to maintain a certain image.

he told the kid to stop and he said no he wasnt going to. these are CHILDREN we are talking about, it doesnt matter if 2 wrongs dont make a right, kids will be kids. maybe if the dad has to pay for all the texts this kid received after what he did to justin, he (the dad) will ensure his own kid stops acting like an idiot himself and will monitor what hes doing online and through his cell phone.

I don’t think that was a very good thing to do, however I don’t blame him either.
Cell phones, blackberries, twitter, facebook too much info to too many people what happened to parental control take the phone away from kids and if they can afford it on their own fine let them pay the bills. My grandechildren one is 12 and the other 17 have pay as you go phones and it comes out of their allowance they pay for it themselves and if they can’t then they don’t use it simple as that

So the kid hacks to get Biebers number and spams him, Bieber breaks no laws in giving out the kids number and now Bieber is the bad guy? To me the kid got what he desearved and as far as paying off the bill….too bad, think twice before hacking next time

Wow…. there sure are a lot of jealous little 12 year olds on this blog… with all your derogatory remarks. When you are all grown up you’ll know the difference between an opinion remark and a hate remark. Hate remarks always gives away someone’s age.

Wow, I can��t believe people are applauding the actions of this kid. I think Bieber deserved some retribution but that doesn��t give him the right to use his fans to do his bidding. In a deceitful way, he took advantage of those children who follow him by lying to them to get them to his dirty work for him. Bieber does not have the right to condemn and penalize people who have committed crimes. He should have contacted the proper authorities to handle this situation. Bieber is an extremely influential person on these young girls and his should not be using this influence to mislead them into harassing a person whether they are guilty of a crime or not.
Holy crap … everyone lighten the hell up. He is a teenage kid and they do spotaneous things without thinking it through. I am sure he will take a different approach in the future should the situtaion re-occur. Meanwhile, get over it, it’s funny, immature (teenager … remember) and a life lesson.
I have to say that despite the “invasion of Bieber’s privacy”, I don’t think Bieber is justified. The other kid did no “harm” to Bieber other than being a nuisance, as any teenager can be at some times. Imagine now how many other kids can get the idea to use the same prank on some other person, ‘cos the Bieb did it! Not really a smart thing for someone of influence.

Way to go, see Stratford, ONT did not raise a dummy, you have my support. Sometimes fame does make a person wiser and smarter, you have a right to protect your privacy and this kid invaded his way into it and hacked into your account. I think this is a good example that there is limits and boundaries and do not cross over them. I am sure Stratford.ONT is applauding as he a smart kid and will not get sucked into the celeb downfalls allot of the young stars get themselves into.
As for the kid with the extra high cell bill, learn your lesson and do not cross boundaries as there is consequences to your action., To his dad, tough it up and be a parent , and know what your kid is doing and do not give him a cell phone where he can run a bill up like this again. You should of had limits with your son and this would not of happened. so get another job and make your son pay for it by a hard days work ,, this will mean he has to pay the bill as well as you .. So do something right a make him work to pay off the debt.

I saw him in an interview and he said someone GAVE him the number. If THAT’s the case, Beiber’s an asshole.
But if he did it maliciously (by hacking), then he deserves some kind of punishment, but the cost of those texts is WAY out of proportion to the misdeed.
if all of justins fans txt’d that number it would cost well above $400’000. OACH!! Just goes to show how much of a child justin really is! Maybe he should be the one to pay for the cost of the txt messages sent since he didnt have to use that route.
Quite frankly, I think Justin made a clever move. If someone hacked into a girl’s account and started phoning and texting her, the hacker would be criticized for being a stalker. But it happens to a male star, and suddenly the hacker becomes the victim? Ridiculous! Justin has the right to protect himself, and if teaching the hacker a lesson, then so be it. Go Justin!
