Peruvian director Ricardo de Montreuil may be directing the new remake, Zorro Reborn. According to Variety, De Montreuil is in talks to helm the film that would see Mexican actor Gael García Bernal as Zorro, the fictional hero created in 1919 and made popular by several television series and movies, including The Mask of Zorro and The Legend of Zorro starring Antonio Banderas. While De Montreuil does not have any major films under his belt, the move would not be unprecedented for Fox. The studio put Rupert Wyatt, also a newcomer, in charge of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, a move that paid off when critics responded positively to the film. The reboot of the new Zorro film, which will see the masked hero in a post-apocalyptic future, is being written by Glenn Gers, Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy and is expected to be released in 2014. ~Rodrigo Cokting

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is worth watching if you want a film that will make you laugh and don’t mind a little profanity and gratuitous violence.

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is bizarre and outrageous, but the movie has one thing going for itself: the outstanding performances by the cast who are hilarious.
