Twilight star, American Idol contestant engaged

Just a few months after they met, Twilight star Nikki Reed, 23, and American Idol Top 12 contestant Paul McDonald, 26, announced their engagement at last night’s MTV movie awards. When they first met at the Red Riding Hood premiere, McDonald didn’t know who Nikki was when she came over to pose with the American Idol contestants for photos on the red carpet. When asked whether they might be moving too fast by getting engaged so soon, Reed told People.com, “I love him and I don’t care. I’ve never met anyone like him. I’ve never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I’ve never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him.”

They met at the Red Riding Hood premiere and are already engaged? When was that, like 6 montha ago, anyone else think that’s fast? Doesn’t mean that it won’t work though.
That’s more like 3 months. Red Riding Hood opened March 11. It’s fast, but hopefully they’ll wait awhile before setting the actual date, just to be sure.

I totally thought he was gay. And no, I’m not saying all those shirts with big roses on them are gay. Maybe he’s just a very sensitive man who likes huge roses on his shirts and can sing to her daily and stick out his finger and birds land on it. Hmmm..maybe time will still tell on that one.
