Miranda Kerr injured in serious car accident

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr was involved in a serious car accident on Monday. An assistant was also in the car when a vehicle rammed into hers on a busy L.A. freeway. The 29-year-old supermodel was taken to hospital where she underwent MRI scans and was seen leaving with a neck brace.  Miranda is now recovering from home with husband, Orlando Bloom, by her side. Her spokeswoman, Annie Kelly, told the press, “She is in a lot of pain, but really we are just glad it was not more serious.” Miranda is also thankful that Orlando and two-year-old son, Flynn, weren’t in the car with her. The driver of the other car was arrested and is expected to face charges for reckless driving. Over the past week, Miranda has been in L.A. shooting a commercial and taking part in a fashion shoot. The accident, however, isn’t getting in the way of her return to Sydney next month to launch Qantas uniforms designed by Australian designer Martin Grant. ~E. Guevarra

Would be such a tragic to lose a pretty face like hers! Thank god she wasn’t badly injured.
