Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick, 28, couldn't stop shaking after meeting Beyoncé at the Grammy Awards. She couldn't believe her luck after coming face-to-face with her idol at the ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night, describing Beyoncé as an ''angel.'' She took to Twitter to gush about meeting the Halo hitmaker, posting: ''Guys, it happened. I met Beyonce. And she is an angel. And I am not worthy. And I will never stop shaking. #PatheticFanGirlOfTheYear (sic)'' Anna is a long-time fan of Beyoncé, 32, and previously praised her music, tweeting: ''There are Beyonce songs and there are the songs we listen to in between Beyonce songs.''
Beyoncé opened the show with her new song "Drunk in Love" and was joined on stage by husband Jay Z, 44, during one of the performances of the night. Beyoncé dressed in a black thong bodysuit over fishnet tights, while her husband wore a smart black suit and bow tie. Jay Z also thanked God for his ''beautiful'' wife and their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as he collected the prize for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Holy Grail," which he recorded with Justin Timberlake. He said: ''I want to thank God, I mean, a little bit for this award, but also all the universe for conspiring and for putting that beautiful light of a young lady in my life.''
