Anna Kendrick’s run in with crazy fan

Anna Kendrick recently spoke to iVillage about fame and crazy Twilight fans. When asked if there was anything going on between her and her End of Watch co-star Jake Gyllenhaal after they were photographed with their arms around each other, she replied, “Obviously not. No.” Anna went on to say she doesn’t know how her Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart deal with the constant media attention and rumors surrounding their relationship, saying, “I have no idea how they stay sane with all that kind of attention. I know, knock wood, I’ve been able to avoid that kind of thing. I’m just in awe of their ability to handle that stuff.” Anna, who received an Oscar nomination for her work in the George Clooney movie Up in the Air last year, revealed that she was in downtown Vancouver when a Twilight fan approached her with a strange request. She explained, “A girl came up to me in Vancouver once while I was shopping and said, ‘Are you in the Twilight movies?’ And I said yes. And she had this package with her, and she said, ‘Are you going to see Taylor Lautner soon? Because you have to give this to him.’ And I just lied and said, ‘I don’t know when I’m going to see him.’ Because what kind of crazy person carries something around in case she runs into a Twilight cast member? I didn’t know if it was a dead animal. It could have been anything. “

I agree, that was pretty snotty. It wouldn’t have killed her to just take it, make a fan really happy, and pass it on to Taylor when she saw him. It might have been something really nice that he would’ve liked. The kid probably didn’t get another chance to give it to him.
I don’t blame her for not taking the package…a lot of strange people out there.
