Anne Hathaway is in talks for a new film, The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie, written by Mindy Kaling along with The Simpsons writer Brent Forrester. The romantic comedy focuses on an insecure girl who dates men who are losers, but her life changes when an attractive guy pursues her. A source claims Kaling might play the supporting role in the film. Hathaway recently completed Les Misérables, directed by Tom Hopper, which opens in theaters Christmas day. The film also stars Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, Russell Crowe and Helena Bonham Carter. With new films and a recent marriage to Adam Shulman, the actress is on a steady path of happiness and fame. When asked about having kids, she told USA Today: “I’d like to have kids in 10 years. I don’t know about five, but 10.” ~ Luxy Hariharan

Four new movies are coming out on DVD and Blu-ray today, including the action-packed thriller Miss Bala and the thriller Serenity starring Matthew McConaughey.
Mindy Kaling is exceptionally talented. Writing and even directing an episode for the Office. Having her own show which I rather enjoy on tv. And now she wrote a movie? But, I hope she doesn’t burn herself out. Plus she needs to branch out and do more than love sick girly stuff. It’s funny but the topic will wear out soon. Anne Hathaway, is hot and very talented. I’m sure this will work.
Can’t wait for Les Mis and this new project for Anne sounds like a must-see as well.
Catwoman purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
How can you have a low self-esteem when you can fit in a leather spandex.
Stay away from the light! I mean romcoms. And you were doing so well.
