Blackberry, the story of the two men that charted the course of the spectacular rise and catastrophic demise of the world’s first smartphone, leads the Canadian Screen award nominations with a record-breaking 17 nods, including Best Motion Picture, Best Direction and Best Performance in a Leading Role for Jay Baruchel.
The 2024 awards will be hosted by comedian Mae Martin and will air on May 31 on CBC and CBC Gem at 8:00 p.m. ET. ~Alexandra Heilbron
