null stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway are in negotiations to reunite for a new movie called Love and Other Drugs. The actors will again play a couple — this time the film will be about a salesman for Pfizer in the 1990s who gets involved with a woman suffering from Parkinson’s disease, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Production on the film, which is based on Jamie Reidy’s novel Hard Sell: The Evolution of Viagra, begins in late September, with director Edward Zwick helming.

I think he’s a good actor but I’m not a fan of hers. She’s not bad but I definitely don’t think she should’ve been nominated for the Academy Awards. The movie was good. She was ok.
I don’t get the hype around her.

didn’t like brokeback mountain. It had no story, just a couple guys getting it on. Soft porn, that’s all it was.

  3. tributegirl • June 8, 2009 @ 7:23 PM

I thought it was a good movie.

  4. Jo-Anne • June 8, 2009 @ 8:54 PM

totally agree, ke and also, tg…

I thought both main actors did a really good job in Brokeback and didn’t find it soft porn at all, Carol…sensitive subject and they handled it very well, in my opinion

am not in the slightest interested so far with the acting of Hathaway, but who knows, in time may see something I like…

do not think this movie would interest me…

joanne, i agree that this movie would probably not interest me either. i havent really saw any movies with anne in them, so i dont know if i like her or not. i want to see brokeback mountain, i just havent gotten around to it yet. i really like jakes acting though, and his sisters (thats irrelevant lol).

Its a beautiful movie mandee and another example of Heath (RIP) at his finest. I’d way rather watch it again then try this new movie. You sound sensitive and tollerant in your messages, I’ll bet you really like it too.

ha ha mandee – irrelevant? no worries there, probably 80 percent of what we write on here is “off topic”…I do like Jake as well…

Brokeback’s not a movie I’d watch twice but definitely worth the first viewing…

  8. Spanky • June 9, 2009 @ 3:45 PM

How can you guys pan Ann but praise Jake? He sucks! All he does is mope, look at all his movies and he just mopes through the whole thing. He is one of the most painful to watch actors. Want to make a movie that would make depressed people commit suicided just cast Jake and the two idiots from Twilight and people will be jumping from roof tops all over the world.

Even though I disagree about Jake, Spanky, I totally LOVE the hillarious last sentence!!!

  10. mandee • June 9, 2009 @ 4:42 PM

i am all about equal rights for everyone lily, so i am sure brokeback mountain would totally be my thing. i love gay men/women, im straight though.

  11. Carol • June 9, 2009 @ 5:56 PM

I just thought the movie would have more of a story, but everytime they got together they ended up doing each other, and I know that is part of a relationship, so yada yada yada before any of you gripe on me for that. They pined for each other, but I thought it would show more of how they survived the pressures of the lifestyle (and I know in the end one didn’t, so yada yada yada again). Just in my opinion, it opened a door which is good for some people, but I didn’t find it had a very good story line. I found it vague. I was curious, had to watch it, didn’t like it.

  12. lily • June 9, 2009 @ 6:24 PM

Um, mandee just said she wants to see it so maybe you didn’t have to give a really big part away, Carol?!

  13. Nancy • June 9, 2009 @ 6:58 PM

I find Carol is usually pretty funny, it’s a shame if mandee “can’t see that”.

LMFAO Carol!! Personally, when I saw the trailer for Brokeback Mountain, that is when I decided not to waste my money. 😀

  14. Carol • June 9, 2009 @ 8:40 PM

Lily, I didn’t give much away, and I’m sure Mandee would have heard much of this anyway as there was so much talk and hype that pretty much everyone knew that part of it. but I’m sure you’ll disagree.

Anyway, Mandee, I did not mean to give anything away, and did not intend to ruin the movie if you really wanted to see it.

Lily, give it up, why are you trying to ride my ass?

  15. lily • June 9, 2009 @ 8:51 PM

Carol, its true I don’t agree with pretty much anything you’ve said, but sorry if it seems like I’m attacking you. Still, I have to comment on that last sentence…thats a pretty odd expression for someone who disagrees so much with gay stuff LOL!
(Last bit is a joke so don’t take it too serious okay?)

  16. mandee • June 9, 2009 @ 9:14 PM

lily on June 9, 2009 6:24 PM i actually read the spoiler by mistake one day, so its ok, thanks though. i dont mind, i still would plan to watch it even if carol had of posted the entire script 🙂

Nancy on June 9, 2009 6:58 PM what was this comment all about? i didnt find anything wrong with what carol said :S and i havent said i dont find her funny 😛

Carol on June 9, 2009 8:40 PM i didnt feel you gave anything away, so it wasnt ruined at all 🙂

  17. Nancy • June 9, 2009 @ 11:14 PM

Mandee, it was in regard to the comment you had made saying that you found Anon/Gina funny and that it’s too bad that I can’t see that. LOL.

  18. mandee • June 10, 2009 @ 12:33 AM

i thought so 😛 i was just curious if you were trying to be rude? i cant tell your tone sometimes.
