Cameron Diaz received the CinemaCon Female Star of the Year award at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this week. “Since making her debut on the big screen in The Mask, Cameron Diaz has continued to capture the attention of audiences around the world with her inescapable charm, innate comedic timing and unparalleled screen presence,” said Mitch Neuhauser, managing director of CinemaCon. “From the outrageously comedic There’s Something About Mary to the action packed Charlie’s Angels, and the critically acclaimed Being John Malkovich, Diaz has proven to audiences that she can take on any role and we are thrilled to be able to present such a remarkable actress with the CinemaCon Female Star of the Year Award.” Diaz will next be seen on the big screen this summer in Bad Teacher, playing a foul-mouthed, ruthless and inappropriate teacher who is dumped by her fiancé.

Holy smokes she is ripped!! The Mask was Diaz at her sexiest. Since then, not so much, but yes she is a versitile actress and totally charming. I like her in everything she does.

C-Dub, you obviously haven’t seen the Green Hornet, she had no purpose in that movie whatsoever. She made a few bombs, she’s not that good. Charlie’s Angels was a waste of time and money. Star of the year should have gone to a more serious actress and more talented.

Wowza- she is looking like Linda Hamilton from T2! Does she have an upcoming role as a Navy Seal or something? IMHO her role with Tom Cruise in Knight and Day was solid. Never found her downright attractive like Megan Fox but her personality shines for her.
