Alliance Films has just released the new poster for the movie Afghan Luke. Starring Nick Stahl, Afghan Luke follows the story of Luke,  who is determined to return to Afghanistan to find the truth surrounding story about Canadian snipers possibly mutilating corpses in Afghanistan. With his offbeat buddy, Tom (Nicolas Wright), tagging along, Luke returns to Afghanistan and intends to gather enough evidence to get his old story into print. But he soon finds that the country is an even more dangerous place than when he left. To make matters worse, his old friend and fixer, Mateen (Stephen Lobo) has been hired away by Luke’s journalistic nemesis, Imran Sahar (Vik Sahay). Soon the trip for Luke and Tom in Afghanistan turns into a surreal and perilous adventure, a journey into an alternate reality, filtered through a haze of gunsmoke. Afghan Luke opens on September 23 and is directed by Mike Clattenburg and produced by Barrie Dunn and Michael Volpe and Mike Clattenburg, the same production team who brought Trailer Park Boys.

“story about Canadian snipers possibly mutilating corpses in Afghanistan.”.. Really is this fiction or non? But really mutilation of dead bodies, can you get charged for that? It’s really a victimless crime as the person is already dead. But sooo gross to mutilate after. And relaly-Canadian soldiers?!?!
    I’m curious about this movie.
