Chris Hemsworth has filmed a series of meditations to promote good mental health and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic, but something odd always seems to get in the way of his sessions.
The video series is titled “Affirmations That Positively, Absolutely, Probably (Most Likely) Won’t Make Your 2020 Worse” by Chris Hemsworth. The goofy guided meditation sessions are posted on his YouTube Channel Centr, and he also shared the clips on Instagram.
The first video shows the Avengers star meditating underwater. In a soothing, sonorous voiceover, he says: “Close your eyes. Don’t breathe in because you’re underwater. Imagine you’re some place far, far away from wherever you’ve been stuck lately.
“There are no distractions here. Nothing to break your calm. No one demanding your attention.” However, what happens next will be familiar to you if you have children. He tries to deal with it in a positive manner, saying, “When the distractions just won’t stop coming no matter where you go, tell them to shove off. Gently, of course. They have feelings, too.”
In another video, Chris tries to meditate in a garden of pink flowers, but bugs begin to distract him. “That was definitely a murder hornet. That was just a figure of speech, right? Do they actually murder you? ”
