The King’s Speech star Colin Firth, 50, was honored yesterday with the 2,429th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After his star was unveiled, Firth gave an emotional speech, during which he thanked his wife, Italian producer Livia Giuggioli. “I want to thank everybody that has accompanied me on this extraordinary journey, but probably more than anybody I could ever imagine, Livia — who has walked every step of this with me joyfully and truthfully,” he said. “When I look down there at that star, it’s her name I see.” The couple have two sons together. Firth is in Los Angeles to attend Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, for which he’s nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
