David Hasselhoff’s daughters are The Hoff Drops

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 3, 2009 | 18 Comments

David Hasselhoff and daughtersDavid Hasselhoff is promoting his daughters, Taylor Ann, 18, and Hayley Amber, 16, as a singing duo he’s thinking of calling The Hoff Drops. He’s hired top songwriters to write hits for them and says their style is similar to that of Miley Cyrus. DJ Scott Mills, who spent time at the Hoff’s home for an upcoming TV show, told The Sun, “David really wants it to work — it’s all he talks about. He will be advising them, but he’s looking for full-time management for them. He’s sorted it all out and he’s very hands-on. They’re recording a song together.” Well, it’s one way for them to keep an eye on his drinking problem — Taylor Ann is the daughter who made a video tape of her dad completely wasted two years ago, in which she was heard pleading, “Tell me you’re going to stop.”

    hahhaha
David is going to be advising them?!! Well at least I got a good laugh today. Is that fat old looking one a daughter? Poor girls, hes going to drag them down with him.

Oh, that’s real nice…”Is that fat old looking one a daughter?” People may be able to control their weight, to a certain extent, but they cannot control the looks that they are born with. And, looking at this picture, she doesn’t really look “fat” either.

Ok, let me rephrase itShe looks hideous. Shes either 16 or 18, either way she looks like shes been around the block a few hundred times. And she is definitely too fat to be dressed from heat to toe in spanex. She reminds me of the old cougars that used to frequent the notorious Club 54 in Burlington..used to be the hottest meat market in Ontario.

ooops… head to toe in spanex

  10. Nancy • April 4, 2009 @ 6:48 PM

She’s the 18 year old…looks just like her mom. It should be illegal for anyone to wear spandex pants, LOL.

Too much business of actor’s offspring inheriting a place in showbiz anyway. Doesn’t give the pavement pounders a chance who’ve gone to acting school, studied hard, then trying to get a break. These kids of actors get in like it’s some kind of “right” of theirs to be there. Music in the case of the “Hoffdrops” but same bull.

I find it is that way with pretty much any profession, Minerva. For a very long time now, it has not been what you know, but WHO you know.

    Nancy,
just wondering how fat and old you really are in comparison.

Ironic how most North American people complain of being lard aSSes when they should look in the mirror themselves.

  14. Nancy • April 5, 2009 @ 4:26 PM

Well Ottawa, first of all….re-read the comments because I am NOT the one who said anything about anyone else being “fat” OR “old”, I’m the one who spoke up and said something to the person who did! So get your facts straight before accusing people!

Ironic how some people open their big mouths without really knowing what the hell is going on!

  15. Anon • April 5, 2009 @ 9:41 PM

Ya Nancy…How old and fat are you?!! lol

    Ottawa on April 5, 2009 4:01 PM

Actually, I was the one that said she was fat. I didn’t say she was ugly. I believe I said she looked disgusting in the spandex and that she looked rough for an 18yr old. And if you want an honest self-evaluation, unlike this young lady, I look ten years younger than my age, not twenty years older. And like the many “North Americans” you refer to I’m carrying an extra 10 pounds but I also realize that spandex is not a very good friend, no matter the size. Thats all, no need to get all huffy over a comment on someones looks that you dont personally know.

You’re right Nancy, it’s who you know but it shouldn’t be that way in Hollywood. Acting is supposed to be about talent. Granted, there are some kids of actors who can truly act well, but there are many who can’t but get all the breaks anyway, or a part in mommy or daddy’s movie. Happens way too much in Hollywood and in politics. You don’t inherit jobs, you work for them, they aren’t “owned” by these people….or, not “supposed” to be, anyway. And those girls look way older than they are because their drunken souse of a father has put them through hell. Childhoods are stollen when kids have to worry about a parent, look after them and even put them to bed, make sure they eat, etc. He’s setting them up with their own act with “guilt” money.

What record company/label would be serious in signing ‘artists’ going by the name of ‘The Hoff Drops’? Is it just me or does that sound incredibly cheesy? Sounds like a Disney production.

  18. Nancy • April 6, 2009 @ 9:08 AM

demigod: LMAO! It does sound VERY “cheesy”!

Minerva: Totally agree! It is hard enough to grow up with one parent who has an addiction, let alone both. In the case of these girls, their dad is a drunk and their mom was, possibly still could be for all I know, addicted to prescription drugs.

Anon: LMF(fat)AO! I’m REALLY old and REALLY fat, hahahaha! And spandex has been my life since the early 80’s.
