Farmer tells Rihanna to keep top on

Though he’s never heard of Rihanna, Northern Ireland farmer Alan Graham, 61, gave her entourage permission to shoot a music video for her new single, “We Found Love” in his corn field, for no charge. When some of her crew’s equipment was stuck in mud, he even gave them a hand getting it out. However, he drew the line when Rihanna, who was wearing a stars-and-stripes bikini, suddenly took off her top. Graham climbed down from his tractor to protest. He told the BBC: “If someone wants to borrow my field and things become inappropriate, then I say, ‘Enough is enough. You are not entitled to do that’. I requested that they stop filming and they did. I had a conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.” The farmer admits he’d never heard of the pop star. “I didn’t know who was coming. If the name ‘Rihanna’ had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn’t have meant anything.” Graham says he has no regrets about putting a halt to the video. “From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate,” he said. “I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”
