Fifty Shades of Grey remains dominant at weekend box office

Fifty Shades of GreyFor the second weekend in a row the unconventional romance between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele managed to stay on top. Fifty Shades of Grey brought in an additional $23 million at the weekend box office. Despite mixed reviews, the erotic romance has a 3 star rating with Tribute fans.

Remaining steady at second was Kingsman: The Secret Service, starring Colin Firth. The action thriller earned $17.5 million this weekend and currently has a 3.5 star rating with Tribute fans. 

Another movie that held its previous spot was one the whole family could enjoy. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water came in third again and earned $15.5 million. It has a 3 star rating with Tribute fans.

The Kevin Costner sports drama McFarland made its debut in the number four spot at the weekend box office, earning $11.3 million. Tribute fans seem to enjoy the movie, giving it a 4.2 star rating.

Coming in fifth place was the second debut in our weekly top five – The DUFF. The teen comedy starring starring Mae WhitmanBella Thorne and Robbie Amell debuted with $11 million and has a 3 star rating with Tribute fans.
