First look at Naomi Watts as Princess Diana in movie biopic

Here’s a first look at the new movie poster showing Naomi Watts as the beloved Princess Diana in the movie biopic, Diana. The King Kong actress has undergone quite the transformation to portray the People’s Princess, including six weeks with a dialect instructor and a prosthetic nose. In addition to the regal blue dress, iconic jewelry and blonde-cropped hair, Naomi is seen wearing a replica of the exact ring that Prince William gave Kate Middleton when they tied the knot in April 2011. This year seems to be a memorable one for the royal family as Kate Middleton is due to give birth to their first child in the next few weeks – Princess Diana’s first grandchild. The film, directed by Olivier Hirschbiegel, is slated to release in the U.K. in September. The film details the final years of the British icon’s life before her death in Paris in 1997. The movie centers on her relationship with British-Pakistani heart and lung surgeon, Dr. Hasnat Khan. The couple had reportedly ended their 18-month relationship mere weeks before her untimely death.

It’s creepy how much she looks like her. I hope the movie helps expose the truth about Diana’s death though, how it was all a plot paid for and organized by the Queen to have her killed.
