Harrison Ford threatened with deportation

Harrison Ford has been threatened with deportation after allegedly publicly confronting Indonesian forestry minister Zulkifi Hasan during a televised interview for a new Showtime documentary television series Years of Living Dangerously, about climate change. Harrison is travelling around Indonesia to interview officials, including president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Some of the issues he’s asking about include forest fires, illegal logging and palm oil plantations. Harrison’s hard-hitting questions angered Hasan so much that presidential spokesman Andi Arief told state news agency Anta, “There’s no privilege for him although he is a great actor. His crew and those who were helping him in Indonesia must be questioned to find out their motives for harassing a state institution,” adding, “If necessary, we will deport him.” However, deportation turned out not to be necessary as Harrison completed his interviews and flew out of the country late Tuesday night.

Guess Harrison Ford is venturing into politics and foreign affairs? Or maybe branching out to news foreign correspondant?

Leoncio Also How can someone be deported, when he’s Not a citizen of their country. Amazing. So in this ‘modern’ era is it OK to tell someone they are harassing you, just because he’s simply asking you questions??? No, that is Not the definition of harassment! If that were True, we’d all have to stop asking questions, so then the harassment would end. How Unreasonable is that??
