Robert Redford has signed on to star in A Walk in the Woods, based on Bill Bryson’s bestseller about his attempt to hike the 2,100 mile Appalachian Trail with one of his oldest friends. A shooting date has not yet been set. Will Ferrell will play Park Ranger Rick in the adventure/comedy Land of the Lost, based on the 1970s TV series. Production is expected to begin in March. Ellen Page is the first actor cast in the horror film Drag Me to Hell, directed and co-written by Sam Raimi. Filming begins March 17 in Los Angeles. Keanu Reeves, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Julianne Moore, Winona Ryder and Monica Bellucci will star in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, directed by Rebecca Miller (Daniel Day-Lewis‘ wife) and based on her novel.
