Claire Danes and Hugh DancyHugh Dancy, 34, and Claire Danes, 30, who announced their engagement in February, have tied the knot in France. The two met in 2006 while filming the romantic feature film Evening. Dancy, a British actor who’s a graduate of Oxford University, rose to fame in Britain playing the title roles in television films such as David Copperfield and Daniel Deronda. He first broke into American films with Young Blades and Black Hawk Down. More recently he starred in Adam and Confessions of a Shopaholic. the movie, mandee, is about a dying woman’s secret that eventually comes out to her 2 daughters. The story is told as the dying woman goes back through time to reveal the circumstances surrounding her life as a younger woman. Danes plays her as the young woman. Dancy plays the brother of Dane’s best friend. There are other amazing actors in the film as well, such as Natasha Richardson, Meryl Streep, Toni Collette. I don’t want to give too much away, let me know if you ever see it what you think…

you may also know Dancy from Confessions of a Shopaholic or The Jane Austen Book Club (loved the latter as well)

let me know what you think when you do see it. there was a few of us that discussed having wanted to see it (back when it was first said that she was going to be retaught to speak properly). that was the only reason i was interested, but it turned out to be a good movie. i cant wait to hear your thoughts when you see it!
