Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson supports gay rights

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 12, 2012 | 12 Comments

It’s always inspiring to see young actors aspiring to make a difference in the world. The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson has had his share of showing support for the LGBT community. The young actor has been a spokesperson for an organization called “Straight But Not Narrow,” founded by fellow actor Avan Jogia. Last year, Josh helped by making a PSA where he questioned, “Does it matter if your guy friends like guys over girls? I mean, doesn’t that leave more girls for you?” The actor also adds, “And furthermore, we’re not going to let anybody say anything bad about anyone, ever again in the history of the world.” The National Enquirer recently reported that a source revealed two of Hutcherson’s uncles died of AIDS, which led him to wanting to participate with the campaign. ~Renita Naraine

    …..Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

He’s right! People cannot choose to be born gay or straight, just like they cannot choose to have brown, green, blue or hazel eyes. Only problem are the people who have problems with it.

I wonder if he’s gay himself

I think where it says “Josh Hutcherson is Straight But Not Narrow” gives us a clue. Besides, he’s dating Vanessa Hudgens.

He’s so sweet. He’s not dating anyone actually. Vanessa is publicly smooching and cuddling that Austin Butler guy.

I would date him. It’s great that he’s taking a stand and not afraid to let people judge him

I now love him for this. Good on you Josh! And for those calling him (and in fdsa’s case 80% of Hollywood) gay, so freaking what! If he is, great, if he isnt, still great. Just keep your mouths shut and say something not arrogant. He’s a good guy who supports something thousands of people are against and in my opnion he deserves the publicity he is getting. And if he happens to be gay then its fine with me. Can I get an amen!

And furthermore, were not going to let anybody say anything bad about anyone, ever again in the history of the world. Gay, straight or whatever, he probably should take his head out of his “pc” a**…..

You shitheads better stop saying shit about him, he’s a good, honest guy, and if he’s gay(which I doubt) so what!
