We got a chance to catch up with one our favorite stars yesterday in downtown Toronto. Ian Somerhalder was in town to talk about his partnership with Cree and their new ground-breaking LED light bulbs. The Vampire Diaries actor, along with Cree CEO Chuck Swoboda, talked to us about the importance of energy conservation and his outlook for the future. Somerhalder is determined to make a difference in the way people live their lives and believes his partnership with Cree is a step towards a better future. The star is known to be very environmentally focused and has a foundation (Ian Somerhalder Foundation) that aims to empower people and educate them about various topics such as energy sources, the environment and animal cruelty. We also got a chance to get some Vampire Diaries scoop, and to talk to the actor about the different possibilities for the show’s future. The full interview will be posted next week. ~Stacy Raivich
