Kelly Clarkson: Marijuana should be legal

Kelly Clarkson Kelly Clarkson ”cannot understand” why marijuana isn’t legal. The 32-year-old singer – who has an eight-month old daughter, River Rose, with husband Brandon Blackstock – doesn’t think it makes sense that alcohol and other ”controlled narcotic substances” are permitted but smoking weed isn’t. She said: ”I cannot understand the fact that controlled narcotic substances and alcohol are legal and weed isn’t. How many people do you know who have died from weed? My point exactly.”

The ‘Breakaway’ hitmaker has also confessed to being allowed to possess firearms. She said: ”I have a concealed handgun license.” Kelly also has a bizarre hobby – cleaning her ears and admits to being ”obsessed” with ensuring they are completely clear.

She told Us Weekly magazine: ”I love cleaning out my ears. I’m obsessed with Q-tips and ear candling.” The ‘Because of You’ singer shot to fame on the first series of American Idol and despite her subsequent success, she dreams of auditioning for rival show The Voice – where the four coaches cannot see who is singing for them – to see how well she would fare. She said: ”I secretly want to try out for The Voice to see if I can get all four chairs to turn around.”

    Oink!

But as a second thought- look at how many people would benefit from the sales of fast foods, baked goods, and other delectable munchies- maybe it would stimulate the economy!!
