New Vacation movie planned

By Alexandra Heilbron on February 28, 2012 | 8 Comments

The Griswolds are ready for another Vacation. According to Variety, New Line has begun negotiations with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (writers of the hit comedy Horrible Bosses) to write and direct the next movie in the “Vacation” franchise. The original series followed Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and his family on vacations that included destinations like the fictitious Walley World (a reference to Disney World), Paris, London, Rome and Las Vegas among others. There’s no word yet on whether Chase will return to the role that made him famous. ~Rodrigo Cokting

Some movies just really need to be left alone. These vacation movies were never even funny to begin with

I think he will be in it. Though it would only make sense if he is taking his grandkids on vacation. Not cool if they given him yet another set of teens to play his kids.

It might not be so bad if it’s Clark and the grandkids. Maybe the kids from “Just Go With It”, I would watch that.

It is a great idea but not without Chevy Chase, please! Even if Chevy is taking his grandchildren to Disney or Great Wolfe Lodge or something. Chevy is Griswold.

There was another Vacation movie done last year with Chevy. It was made for the internet about some travel vacation business. You can watch the 14-minute short, titled “Hotel Hell Vacation”, by clicking on my name.
