Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds spent New Year’s Eve together — at Bullock’s Austin, Texas restaurant Bess Bistro — and an onlooker says they looked pretty chummy. The two played lovers in The Proposal last year and it now appears they may be forming a similar relationship in real life. “They were very playful,” an onlooker told Us Weekly, saying that Bullock, 46, and Reynolds, 34, were “smiling the whole time and occasionally touching…What a hot — and quick — rebound for both of them!” Earlier this year Sandra obtained a divorce from Jesse James, her husband of almost five years after it became clear that he’d cheated on her. Ryan split with his wife of two years, Scarlett Johansson, last month. “I’m sure they’ve bonded over the breakups,” a Reynolds insider told Us. “Going through a divorce is a unique thing to live through.” The sourced added that the two had chemistry on the set of The Proposal: “Ryan always got excited talking about Sandra and liked being around her.” Sandra was recently named “Woman of the Year” by People magazine, which also dubbed Ryan the “Sexiest Man Alive.” Witnesses told OK! magazine the two shared a midnight kiss, a champagne toast and left the restaurant together at 2 a.m. They’ve signed to co-star in another romantic comedy, Most Wanted, by the writer of The Proposal, which will begin filming sometime this year for a 2012 release.
