Simon Cowell angered by One Direction’s partying

After the sudden rise in fame, British boy band One Direction has been in the media’s watchful eye. Although the five boys in the band, which was formed on the U.K. version of Simon Cowell’s The X Factor, seem like good, clean-cut boys, they’re actually quite the partiers. “Simon’s a control freak with One Direction,” an insider told Star. “He’s come down hard on them for spending too much time chasing girls, drinking booze and acting like clowns in night clubs.” The X Factor judge wasn’t too happy when he saw the boys drinking alcohol during a promotional trip. “Simon told them that to stay on top, they needed to put their noses to the grindstone and quit drinking,” said the source. “Simon’s a master image-maker, and he doesn’t want these guys to self-destruct. He wants to keep One Direction squeaky clean.” ~Graeme Mollison

They are too new in the business to do something stupid and blow it. July 2013 Concert tickets for these guys have already been on sale and many dates sold out. These are more than a year away. I wonder if they will make it for 2013 concert dates!!!
