James Franco to get star at Walk of Fame

By Tribute on March 4, 2013 | 5 Comments

James Franco is having a great start to his year so far: his Sundance entry, Interior: Leather Bar, gathered rave reviews and he has two new movies, Oz: The Great & Powerful and Spring Breakers, that will soon debut in theaters. To top it off, he just got news that he will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 34-year-old actor will attend the unveiling ceremony with director Sam Raimi and This Is The End co-star and longtime buddy, Seth Rogen. “Fans from all over the world have been waiting for James to be honored with this great accolade,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the inauguration ceremonies of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. ~Carlos Laron

Oh come on. Who paid for that? He has enough fans to raise that kind of dough?

He’s only 34 and gets one. Well he’s been in films for a long time and some pretty great ones, maybe it’s time. Surprising since some actors don’t get a star until they are wayyyy older.

Better him than Jennifer Lawrence or Amy Adams, though if Franco is recognized so early than Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale should be, too.

It’s about time! He most definitely deserves it

I think Christian Bale got one last year
