John Wick: Chapter Four kills at weekend box office

Four of the top five films at the weekend box office were sequels to previous hit films. Find out which films made the list.
John Wick: Chapter 4 starring Keanu Reeves blasted the competition at the weekend box office, debuting as the top film with earnings of $73.5 million.
Last weekend’s top movie — Shazam! Fury of the Gods starring Zachary Levi — dropped into second place, taking in an additional $9.7 million for a two-week total of $46.3 million.
Scream VI dropped one spot to third, raking in an additional $8.4 million for a three-week total of $89.9 million.
Creed III, directed by and starring Michael B. Jordan, dropped a spot to fourth, earning an extra $8.36 million for a four-week total of $140.9 million.
Rounding out the top five was the space thriller 65 starring Adam Driver. It earned an additional $3.3 million for a three-week total of $27.8 million. ~Alexandra Heilbron
