Julia Roberts to play evil Queen in Snow White

By Alexandra Heilbron on February 10, 2011 | 7 Comments

Julia Roberts has signed on to star as the evil queen in an as-yet untitled Snow White movie to be directed by Tarsem Singh. In this one, Snow White and her seven dwarfs seek revenge when her evil stepmother kills her father. The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in April for a June 29, 2012 release. The role of Snow White has not yet been cast. This film is not to be confused with Snow White and the Huntsman, in which Twilight star Kristen Stewart is rumored to be playing Snow White alongside Viggo Mortensen as the huntsman and Charlize Theron as the evil queen.

That should be interesting. Has she ever played an evil character before?

OMG!!!!!!!!! Love the animated original so what’s going on with all these other people versions aren’t there any writers anymore who can come up with an original story line of their own. This sucks!

What’s with the sudden revival of Snow White?

If this Snow White “is not to be confused” with the one in which Kristen Stewart is rumoured to star in, then why make two Snow Whites at the same time to confuse us with in the first place? Man, those writers are really running out of ideas aren’t they? Just sayin’….

To make matters worse why the hell would anyone want Julia to play the role of an Evil Queen…please make this go away.
