Kate Hudson asks for unusual baby shower gifts

Kate Hudson, whose baby with fiancé Matthew Bellamy is due at any moment, has asked for a specific kind of gift from family and friends as baby gifts. She’s asked that instead of baby items, they buy her trees. “She wanted them for her home with Bellamy in England,” Us Weekly reported. Although Hudson has spent most of her pregnancy in Southern California, where she and Bellamy just bought a $5.3 million mansion in the Los Angeles suburb Pacific Palisades, once the baby is born, the couple, who became engaged in April, plan to take the newborn to England while Muse frontman Bellamy works on his new album.
