Lohan refused alcohol

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan apparently tried to order a vodka October 19th at the Viceroy hotel in Los Angeles while out with friends, but she was refused by staff. A source told Life & Style magazine, “She was fine at first, but it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka. But her people had called ahead and servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol.” Although Lohan’s publicist denies the incident, a guest at the Viceroy, who overheard the exchange between the actress and a waitress, told the publication, “I heard the waitress say that she was sorry but she wasn’t allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed.” Meanwhile, Lohan was photographed last night with extremely swollen lips. Not a good look for the recovering addict.

By the looks of those lips, she seems to have been ‘sucking’ on the vodka bottle!!

    That’s too funny….
    Man, she looks awful.

A little young for facial work isn’t she?

It would nice if everyone (especially the media) would “get a life” and report the real news in the world. No wonder we have a North American population that is predominantly ignorant of the real issues facing the world–world hunger, AIDS victims in Africa and other third world countries (not to mention Canada/America), social issues, moral decay…etc., etc…the list is long. What a shame that we spend so much wasted energy worrying about Lindsay, Brittney, Paris, and the like. Wow, we live in a really warped world…I could say more…but I’ll stop. I think you know what I’m talking about!!!!

Good for you Connie couldn’t have said it better myself. I wonder what people would do if the media was involved in their life the way they are involved in singers and actors and actresses.

A recovering addict who doesn’t get a drink just because her friends won’t let her isn’t going to recover. At least, not yet. She has to want to recover and if the bar tender wouldn’t serve her, there are plenty of other places for her to get it…and, she will. Recovery is a time when an addict needs a tremendous amount of love and support from family, friends, and even fans. Feeling like everyone is against her isn’t helping her. It would be nice if people could just lighten up and be a little less critical. It would be sad to see this girl, or any person sink to ruin because of a habit or craving. And she’s really not a bad actress…..just a little too young to handle all the money and fame in a mature way, so she found something that got a hook into her. Alcoholics have to swear off booze for good, not even drinking socially. Does anyone think that would be easy for any person in her position, living her lifestyle? I feel bad for her.

Nah! I felt bad for her the first 1 or 2 times. Now she doesn’t deserve anymore sympathy!! Drink all you want Lindsay! Just leave the car keys at home, because the one I feel sorry for is the one she is going to kill with her stupidity!!

HA-HA!! What can ya say that hasn’t already been said?

Connie, If you really want to read about news GO ON A NEWS SITE! People read this because sometimes they want to get away from all the terrible things happening in the world. If news was the only thing read about you would be pretty depressed and bored right about now.

Give her all the bottles she wants. None of these “kids” will get it until one of them actually dies from alcohol poisoning. Wonder which one will be the first? And will anybody really care?

I guess that’s what happens when you don’t get a drink, your lips swell to an emormous size. Never did think she was all that talented. That must be why she’s an addict she knows she’s got no talent as well. I just wish people would leave her alone to fade in history like so many other no talent losers have over the years.

With those lips how can she not get off the booze? Just stick ‘er to the wall, she’ll never be able to pry them off the wall to get a drink. Simple!

    Yeah, suction cups!! LOL

I like what “Anonymous” said on Nov 2, yeah, we are all as aware of world hunger, aids, etc, as we are of this stuff, Connie just because we read this doesn’t mean we aren’t aware of serious social issues as well. And if those issues are all you want to read about, why are you reading and responding to this sort of stuff? Because you are as interested in the gossip as the rest of us, that’s why. It’s ok to be interested in more than the depressing news of the world Connie.

  16. Nancy • November 5, 2007 @ 2:04 AM

Yeah! I have several interests. I like to have a good laugh, in case y’all haven’t noticed! So, check this out….read this, then scroll up and take a good look at Lindsay’s picture…….I think….she had her lips stuck to the inside of the lid of a tanning bed!!

  17. me • November 5, 2007 @ 4:49 AM

Ouch! That must have burned! Good one Nancy! See, you can have fun, and still be aware of world hunger, etc! Thanks Nancy!

Judging from that pic, I’d say Mick Jagger has reinvented himself yet again…

    I love Li-lo’s new lips.

  20. Nancy • November 5, 2007 @ 6:41 PM

Well, I’m a female but, I guess it’s understandable from a man’s point of view, considering which ‘brain’ they think with!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

  21. Nancy • November 5, 2007 @ 6:42 PM

Yeah, yeah, I know!! No hitting below the belt! I just couldn’t resist! LMFAO.

  22. Elaine • November 6, 2007 @ 12:40 AM

  23. Anonymous • November 7, 2007 @ 3:21 PM

stop putting her into the news so she can dissapear!

  24. sras • November 16, 2007 @ 2:06 AM

I totally agree with Connie. Yes, this is maybe the second time in 10 years that I’ve read this junk. So I’m culpable too. Why is there so much attention paid to the peccadilloes of the rich and naughty? Why are so many people reading it? What makes them so important?

And how many people actually know what is going on in the world? Maybe if they were left alone, these celebrities would be able to turn their lives around instead of just being fodder for the tabloids.
