New on DVD: Aloha, Boychoir and more

AlohaThis week on DVD are a few movies that will be sure to leave you wanting more, including the drama Boychoir and the comedy Aloha

Dustin Hoffman stars as a choirmaster at a boarding school who takes a recently orphaned but gifted new student (Garrett Wareing) under his wing in Boychoir. Other cast members include Kathy Bates, Josh Lucas and Debra Winger.

Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams star in AlohaThe film follows Brian Gilcrest (Cooper), a military contractor who returns to the Air Force in Hawaii where he left his first love. He is introduced to Air Force liaison Ng (Emma Stone), with whom he enjoys spending time. Brian will have to discover himself to find what he truly wants.

Big Game is the story of a boy who goes hunting while something sinister is going on above him. When Air Force One is attacked by terrorists, the plane is badly damaged and doomed to go down. President William Alan Moore (Samuel L. Jackson) is sent out in an escape pod into the forest of Finland. The boy finds the pod and will use his expertise to help the president escape the terrorists who shot him down.

Good Kill is the story of a U.S. Air Force drone pilot (Ethan Hawke) who starts to question his job of bombing suspected terrorists in Afghanistan from his safe base in Las Vegas. The weight of his actions start to weigh on his conscience and have an effect on his home life.

Two grieving mothers, Lila and Eve (Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez), are heartbroken and enraged when their children are murdered and the police don’t seem to want to do anything about it. When the two meet at a support group they decide to take the law into their own hands. They begin searching for their sons’ killers to get justice.
