Nicki Minaj smashed boyfriend’s car with a baseball bat

New details are giving a strong indication as to why Nicki Minaj ended her relationship with boyfriend Safaree Samuels last month. TMZ reported on Tuesday that the “Anaconda” singer smashed Safaree’s 2012 Mercedes Benz with a baseball bat in a fit of rage during an argument in the summer. She also reportedly threw Safaree’s clothes in the trash.
Police were called to Nicki’s home but no arrest was made because as it turned out, she bought the car for him, but the car was still in her name. Safaree was promptly escorted off the property. There is no word as to what caused the argument. Although they didn’t break up at that time, the split came not long after. Needless to say, it was probably for the best that they part ways. ~Kelly Townsend
