Fruitvale Station (2013)

This is the true story of Oscar, a 22-year-old Black Bay Area resident who was trying to turn his life around and become a better person. The film recounts the final hours of his life before he was shot and killed on January 1, 2009 by a white police officer at the Fruitvale BART station. Oscar's story, while just about one person, related to the wider narrative of Black men being killed by police across America. The film was released in 2013, but since then we've seen dozens of cases about the same situation.
