Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) – Yoda reveals the truth

Originally discovered as an extra on a now out-of-print laser disc edition of Return of the Jedi, this deleted scene is an alternate extended sequence involving Yoda revealing the truth about Vader to Luke. Despite its short nature, there is a line in this that massively changes the audience's perspective towards Obi-Wan in how he kept the truth of Vader from Luke. This scene reveals that it was on Yoda's commands that Obi-Wan hid the truth about Vader, allowing audiences to sympathize with him more, while making Yoda more morally ambiguous with this order.
