Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

We complete the Game of Thrones triumvirate of actors that tried to make it big with leading roles with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Though arguably not as big a star as Emilia Clarke or Kit Harington, he nonetheless got his shot at Hollywood stardom, leading the aforementioned Gods of Egypt alongside Brenton Thwaites. It was an ill-fated project from the onset regardless of the quality of Coster-Waldau's performance. The film tanking at the box office all but assured he wouldn't get another shot at being a Hollywood leading man, although he has taken lead roles in non-Hollywood projects. His most notable recent one was the crime-thriller Domino, directed by Brian De Palma.
