Les Miserables – Anne Hathaway outshines entire main cast

With only 15 minutes of screen time in a three-hour-long film, Anne Hathaway stole the show from the entire main cast of Les Misérables. The Hollywood Reporter said her "performance was hailed as a standout among an all-star cast," and she was destined to play the role — as her mother did in a touring production of the Broadway musical. Hathaway went on to win the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 2013 for her role in the film, acknowledging her character's song "I Dreamed a Dream" by simply saying "It came true."
