Jean-Claude Van Damme – Jian Bing Man (2015)

This Chinese comedy from writer, director and star Chengpeng Dong found the opportunity to bring in Hollywood action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme, playing himself in this fictional tale about a disgraced actor looking to make his way back to the top. While his role amounts to a cameo, JCVD starring as himself is nothing new, as he’s also appeared as himself in the Russian film Rzhevskiy protiv Napoleona and in the French film JCVD (pictured above), which works as a pseudo-biopic with a twist.
