Ben Affleck – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

The role of Batman has become the comic book equivalent of James Bond, now that so many actors have taken on the mantle of The Caped Crusader. In 2016, Ben Affleck was Zack Snyder's choice for the latest iteration of the character on film and was initially met with huge skepticism. Though the film he debuted in would be panned by critics, many did acknowledge that Affleck was indeed a solid choice for the Dark Knight, praising his take on the character. This had people excited for his potential solo film and although that never panned out, fans get at least two more looks at his version of Batman in Zack Snyder's Justice League and The Flash.
