And here we come to the film in which Johnny Depp met his future ex-wife Amber Heard. While this film itself isn't as big as some other movies omitted on these rankings, it is notable for being the kind of project many were hoping for Depp to return to after fronting so many tentpole blockbusters. As for Depp's performance itself, he is great as journalist Paul Kemp, but Bruce Robinson's direction and handling of Hunter S. Thompson’s novel left much to be desired.
