Matilda (1996)

Let me set the scene for you: Matilda is attempting a hurried escape from inside Miss Trunchbull’s house. The woman chases after her with cast iron shot puts at the ready and a fiery hate for children burning at her core. We watched this incredible scene, overwhelmed with fear at the prospect of the young girl getting caught. The suspense is incredible, especially when Matilda is seemingly cornered beneath the kitchen table with nowhere left to run as the Trunchbull slowly closes in on her.
