Gladiator 2

Gladiator (2000) came out over 15 years ago and crushed the box office, earning almost half a billion dollars across the globe and earning several Academy Awards. A movie like this usually demands a sequel and the studio was searching for the perfect writer. The only problem was the movie’s main hero Maximus (Russell Crowe) didn’t survive the first film. There’s hope however, as Ridley Scott is still trying to get something done with the sequel, proposing to resurrect Russell’s character.
