Anne Hathaway – One Day (2011)

Anne Hathaway plays Emma Morley, a recent graduate of the University of Edinburgh where she meets Dexter Mayhew, played by Jim Sturgess. Now we don't dispute Hathaway is a great actor who has earned multiple awards and nominations throughout her career, but in this film, her portrayal of Emma Morley feels like an American impersonating a British person, especially when put beside real Englishman Jim Sturgess. Her accent was so off that James Corden poked fun at her performance during their "rap battle" on Corden's The Late Late Show with James Corden.
