Pink and Chelsea Handler hospitalized

Rocker chick Pink is all smiles in the hospital. The 32-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to tell her followers she hasn’t been feeling well lately. Despite being admitted for stomach flu, Pink was surprisingly upbeat in a photograph taken on her Instagram account, which showed the Happy Feet Two star lying in a hospital bed with an IV drip in her arm and a big smile on her face. With her mother’s medical background, Pink says she’s completely comfortable in hospitals and with the pain medication given she was in a brighter mood. “Maybe it’s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life, but throw me in a gown and hook me up to an IV and I’m a happy girl,” she wrote. “Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn’t.” Later she updated fans with her health status, thanking loyal followers for their get well wishes and hinting she might not be suffering from stomach flu after all. “Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no they don’t give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It’s a gift,” she tweeted. Pink wasn’t the only star receiving hospital treatment on Thursday. Actress and talk show host Chelsea Handler went through knee surgery. “Fortune Feimster will be filling in as the host on tonight’s show with more photos of me and my knee making a quick recovery. Please support her,” said Handler along with a picture posted on her Facebook account. ~Graeme Mollison
